The distinction between clarity and precision is underappreciated. Rolling wave planning makes intuitive sense as decision-deferral rather than avoidance,but the real insight is framing refinement points as intentional checkpoints rather than plan failures. I've seen a lot of teams commit to false precision earlybecause stakeholder anxiety pushes them toward overfitting to incomplete information. The sample language around communicating staged certainty is useful tho, especially the bit on making refinement predictble.
