Tom Gilbs work in this area is both well proven in dozens of case studies on PM at scale in complexity AND underrated because it requires rethinking that many leaders and consultants either don’t want to do or tell themselves they don’t have time for. Highly recommended as practical antidote to Cynefins lack of formalization at practice layer (I suppose to long blog posts from Dave that are both interesting and that don’t tell you concretely how to proceed)

Dave Snowden would be proud to see how you contextualized his framework. It was interesting to read about Flyvbjerg for the first time.

For some reason, people try to pit theories against each other and debunk alternatives. Closer to the truth is that all theories are true in the context they are framed in. And you should hold all theories in stock, and know when to apply them.

This is Charlie Munger’s idea of a latticework of mental models
